Party Weekend!

Friday night was mamas night out! Never have I left Gav before but Kris jumped right in and took him on for the night. (Let's just say Gav was up til midnight having "guy time" watching The Godfather!!) We had a wonderful evening at Adrienne's house for Michele's 27th birthday. Adrienne did a beautiful pink and gold theme and we all came with gifts, wine and food galore! It is always such a fun time with these ladies even after all the birthdays we have celebrated. We put on our party dresses and chatted the night away...we didn't even make it into the hot tub and I got home at 2am. It was worth it..

Happy Birthday Michele!

YUMMY!!! One day I will try to make these..

Adrienne's beautiful job with the decor and flowers

Worth it...

I needed one of all the ladies dressed up. Photo taken by Michele her blog here for more amazing photos.

Sunday was Boston's 1st birthday party and boy did Nicole do a wonderful job! She had all the little details down to a tee...even had a real firetruck for Boston's firetruck themed party. Michele took a ton of great photos that you can see on her blog. After Olivia stopped covering her ears in the firetruck she had tons of fun! She is still talking about it...now thats a party. I still remember when Boston was born...I was at the hospital til 3am, pregnant and had to work at 6...but once again so worth it! He was a charmer the first moment I saw him and he still is. Boston you are one sweet little man...Happy Birthday.

Palm Trees and Sunshine!

Wow I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks since we have been home! This month has been hectic... I am missing the warm sun and lazy days by the pool that's for sure. We had a wonderful yet busy trip to Long Beach and Palm Springs. It was our first trip away with just the four of us! Once the kids got settled into the routine of walks, pool time, lunch, naps, more pool time they had a blast. Kris and I couldn't wait for the afternoon naps...we had coffee (or beer), read our books and relaxed in the sun.  Our resort had 2 pools with kiddie pools which we could leave Olivia in by herself and 2 large playgrounds which was also perfect for Liv. We went to the local target (daily), ate nachos and beans late at night when the kids slept, had coffee in bed, sun tanned, daily walks around the golf course and went to the pool as much as we could! One day we went to downtown Palm Springs and we drove to the outlets another day so I could drool over Coach bags and Tory Burch flats. Travel day was long and hard on the kids but we made it...home sweet home!
